This page is for pieces I'm working on. We seem to be overwhelmed with images of faces in repose, look at any social media site and that's what you get. And it occurs to me that in my mind's eye I see the people I love with animated faces. When we talk to people we express feelings and emotions, and engage in all kinds of facial expressions. It's animation I want to capture, because it's animation that brings life (duh) to people's faces. I've done my last face in repose - and not a moment too soon ...

... unless it's made of stone, that is, and has a headful of animals crawling all over it. Here's a green figure (left) who's been standing around in the forest so long that it's become part of the environment. A one-off piece carved from Portland stone.

On the right is a relief orange tree plaque showing a range of textured surface finishes.
