This is the most recent piece I’ve made.

Over the last few years, I’ve been stunned by the presence and charisma of Michaela Coel as an actress. I’ve been moved and disturbed at times by her writing in I May Destroy You. I’ve been impressed by her eloquence and compassion when I’ve heard her speak. This piece is a homage to her. I hope the vibrancy of the postbox red reflects some of the power and in-your-faceness that she exhibits but some of the calm poise too. 

It’s made with bronze resin from a clay original then painted and rubbed back to reveal highlights of bronze.


I’ll be taking part in the Cotswold Sculpture Association exhibition at Miserden Gardens between June 2 and July 31 2022, where there will be over 100 outdoor sculptures and around seventy indoor pieces on display. For full details see below.
